Counselling for teens (15+) and young adults

When anxiety, school refusal, or loss of motivation start to impact daily life and wellbeing

You might recognize some of these challenges:

  • Disengaging from or refusing school

  • Intense anxiety the night before school or in the morning

  • Experiencing strong emotions, shutting down, or losing interest in things once enjoyed

  • Ongoing conflict at home about attendance or expectations

  • Finished or left school and struggling to find motivation or direction

These experiences are more common than they seem, and counselling can help teens break the cycle and begin moving forward again.

Support that meets teens where they’re at

Teen counselling looks a little different for everyone.
Some sessions focus on reducing anxiety and building coping skills; others center on routines, motivation, or next steps after long absences from school. The process moves at a realistic pace, supporting small, steady changes that build confidence and help teens reconnect with school, relationships, and a sense of direction.
